This is a purley simple cottage, on South Bolton Lake, with a private dock and steps into the lake for easy access.   The lake is quite clean and clear, the bottom is sandy at our dock.   There are 2 Queen Bedrooms & 2 baths. Big comfy living room with great lake views.   Family fun!   Swim, float or fish on this low Hp motor restricted lake.   Gas grill and outdoor seating too! Practical kitchen, with all the basics.  We use  quality linens and the house is set up very well.   Since COVID we do not make the beds.  You will find the clean linens set on the beds for your use.  Be aware the house is on a main road but set back.  There is a shared turn around for easy access and exit.  Reel in this simple cottage, for your next vacation!

Welcome to the picturesque farm of 36 acres! This farm is only 20-min away from UConn, 25/30-min from Mohegan/Foxwoods Casinos, and 35-min from state beaches. Our lake house is situated on 1.5 acres just 250 steps to the Cove Road boat launch on beautiful Amston Lake. The lake is a pristine 188-acre retreat located in Lebanon and Hebron, CT. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, and sunbathing are all activities you can enjoy. There are no motor boats allowed so you can enjoy all of those activities in a peaceful environment. Two beaches are located 1/2 or 1 mile away from the cottage with ample parking at both should you choose to drive. The house is 850 square feet of pure cottage enjoyment. There are two bedrooms with a queen-sized bed in one and a full and twin in the other. A sixth person could sleep on the sofa. There is one bathroom with a shower and a washer and dryer. There is a full kitchen and a gas grill for cooking. There is one television with cable and wifi. Our cottage doesn't have high-end finishes, but it is clean and comfortable. It's a cottage, and it feels like a cottage, especially when you are sitting on the porch swing, enjoying a cold beverage, watching the bird feeder, and reflecting on the day. Or sitting around the fire pit with friends and family, while sharing stories and roasting marshmallows. It feels like you are in the middle of the woods. One of my friends always tells me he loves to come to the cottage because it feels like camping but with running water. We have a canoe and two kayaks for you to use, a few beach chairs, and some lawn games. Lebanon is a beautiful, rural community with several operating farms. The living room has a queen plus sleeper sofa with an upgraded foam mattress. There are 2 kayaks, a paddle boat and a canoe for you to enjoy lake activities during your stay. There is a stone steep driveway that is only accessible with a 4WD vehicle. You can walk down the drive or there are cement steps to the right of the driveway to walk down. Please note that the sloped terrain of the property and the cement stairs may not be easily accessible for some individuals.

We have poles for you to borrow or bring your own if you are a serious fisher! You can also bring your boat if your have one or use one of our SUPs to explore the lake. Swimming is right off the dock and the sunsets are awesome! If you are looking for more activities such as walking, hiking, running, etc. a visit to the Air Line State Park Trail might fit your needs. Entrance to the trail is about a mile up the road. If you are looking for some action in the evening, a visit to the casinos might be right up your alley! Foxwoods Casino is about 35 miles away and Mohegan Sun Casino is about 30 miles away. Laurel Island is a 5 acre Island in Connecticut south of Hartford, near Middletown. There is a 3000 Lodge plus 5 cabins on the Island. The Island is a perfect place for a family reunion, other reunion, gathering of friends, corporate retreat or other gathering. It is private but close to where you are. The Island is wooded with a one acre open field in the middle. In the field you can find volley ball, horseshoes, bocce, and other field games. There is a fire pit and the Island provides plenty of wood for your evening gathering around a fire roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Each cabin has a dock, a deck, a kitchen, a bathroom and is private from the other cabins. The Lodge has a very large central room and four bedrooms for your use. There are two bathrooms with showers in the Lodge. There is a shower house in the center of the Island which has two private showers. The Lodge has a very well equipped kitchen including all the dishes and pots and pans you will need. Each cabin is well equipped with dishes, pots and pans. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Tentrr Extras: These are other additional amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. A Dozen Fresh Chicken Eggs - $4 Fresh chicken eggs straight from the lady's vent. Unwashed and can last outside the fridge for up to 6 months in a cool dry place. Mexican Coca Cola - $12 Mexican coke in a glass bottle. Six pack. A Bundle of Dried Firewood - $10 Dried firewood perfect for your fire pit. For 1 night. Cast Iron Pan - $10 Large cast iron pan and spatula. Extra Pillows - $10 Two extra pillows. Paint Nite - $50 Paint the outdoors with acclaimed illustrator, Josh Adams, as he shows you how to paint happy little trees with watercolor. We will provide the supplies. Feed the animals - $5 Feed our chickens, ducks and geese farm approved food and they'll eat from your hand. Other Things to Note: + Before you settle in - make sure to message us. We have livestock guardian dogs that need to be made aware of your arrival. + Please park in only designated areas. + Do not harass the livestock. If you would like fresh eggs, just ask! + Do not harass the wildlife. We get owls, hawks, bats, deer, snakes, fox, and fisher cats on the property. + Fires are only allowed by the firepit. + You can use the electric in the hay shed, but please turn off lights and unplug anything you are not using. + Do not drink, defecate or urinate in the stream. + No fireworks. + No loud music after 10pm. + Please clean up after yourself and be respectful of our property. + Potable water is located at the spigot in front of the door. Hot and cold water is available. + Dogs are allowed but must be on leash at all times. Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb.
